Soo.. For you that dont know, due to a few different factors, mainly abuse lol. My car died on me, and well now i took the engine apart to find this..
Nr 1 cyl, all blown to shit. And the oilring had burnt stuck lol.
2nd cyl, more stuff gone on this one but atleast the rings weren't stuck like on the first one..
Got a replacement engine which is being put together now, which was in good condition and i bought it for a mere 35€ lol. I've sent the head off to get skimmed a bit 0.25mm to make sure it's straight, and then the pistons to get skimmed. They took them down 1mm each and widened the hollowed part a bit, so i get a lower compression rate as it's supposed to be a turbo on it, and those pistons were from a N/A version.
Luckily these pistons have quite a bit of material in them so there is a bit you can take off without having to worry about them breaking.
Bish bosh, should've just kept the high compression and gone for E85

9.5-9.8:1 is a perfectly good static compression when fueling E85, even in a large bore engine, especially as long as your turbine housing isn't terribly small.

Oh, you are not the only one
Taking it all apart now, then i will order pistons and rods, then sending the block away to get bored and such.
A little update on the ecoboob.
Only minor mods done, but both make a nice difference.
Wind Deflectors
Induction and turbo hoses
Safe to say my Re-circulation valve sound turns more heads. It's quite louder now
Future/upcoming mods:
Eibach Pro Lowering Springs w/ Spacers. <--- Very much needed!
Full Hard Pipe Upgrade Kit
High Flow Induction Filter
Voodoo V.175 upgrade Package w/ Cobra Sport Decat Pipe and exhaust System (Non Res)
Voodoo Inside Wrap on the rear Quarter Panel
Full Splitter/Diffuser kit
Rear Spoiler Extenstion Trim (From an ST200)
Wheels, haven't made my mind up on which wheels yet...
Looking at atleast 180hp+ when everything is done.
Keep an eye on the gearbox and cooling system on that Ecoboost, I have friends that have ran into a fair bit of trouble with both after passing 180hp. Looks good though.

The main problem with the gearboxes on these is the linkages. It's because of how much the engine rocks back and fourth. I don't know what Ford where thinking, but I'll be getting a harder roll restrictor from Mountune.
But cheers!
So here is My new car, a Volvo V70 MK1 2,5litre turbo, automatic.
Has all kinds of nice stuff in it, new discs on every corner, New brake pads on every corner, new brake calipers in the rear, new radiator, tinted Windows, A/C, half-leather seats, 2 pairs of alloy rims (winter rims on the car atm). Rust free too.
Plans are to fix the rear passenger door tint, repaint the rims, lower it at some point, Wash it properly (claybar, wax and Buff the paint) maybe up the boost. And ofc much More that I just am not arsed to list.
Looks good Tony, those front calipers need some love though! Should come up nice with a good clean too but black is impossible to keep clean
Yeah I might Be painting them all Black or silver to make it not as a Black themed car.
I still cant believe I paid 1000€ for a almost mint condition car.
Also, HD pocs coming when i get home and have time
There we go, you got car!
Yea, some detailing on those calipers could do good. But Scandinavia especially under these months, with Winter roads, freezing melting, road salt etc. It's the perfect formula for making calipers look like sheeit..
Is this the 170hp~ version or the 190?
190hp version cause its the turbo one.

You also got a 180bhp turbo one, and a 240 and a 250
Ah, not used to Volvos yet. But atleast My father said that you picked a good 190hp engine haha
2.3l t is a little stronger to tune up then 2.5 have some said
One of your nicest cars yet Toni, after the crapolla
Yeah, it is, cant wait to get My hands on it, need to wait for it to get MOT'd next week!.
