It starts and runs great. With a 1.8 16 valve engine it is also not slow. I'd almost say it was a bargain at around £1270/€1450. I probably would if it wasn't for a few cosmetic issues.
Nice car, Ras Biggrin

Still better than one of these:

Yeah. Just beware of this, it's an extremely common problem (I believe there was even a service bulletin to replace some bits related to the IMMU without cost at some point) and since it's an electric fault with the immobilizer, it could just one day think your key is invalid. W00t
Yeah, anything on a car can break though. Just gotta assume it will function as it currently does Smile
Low enough?

Show Preparation Begins..

Machine Polishing for days on the 180

Didn't you already do that last year, or are you still on the same round? W00t Looks very nice though.
I spent like 5 hours polishing my hood with DA, scholl s3+purple spider took so much work to get even smallest scratches off.. Maybe ill just sandpaper polish it first to get orange peel off because imo its kind of waste to polish and have the orange peel ruin it. Its ridiculous how even cars straight out from factory have so bad paintjobs with horrible peel on them
You should see the clear coat on my roof..
Getting there!!

Id love to wet sand it to get rid of the orange peel!

Absolutely love this car!

MOT is approaching fast. Lately I've redone the exhaust with a new cat and replaced a torn CV-joint boot and a header gasket. Also added some sound deadening in the trunk although that's obviously not a MOT issue!

Today I was at the local garage having my emission test done, it did pass. Hopefully there will no major issues at the MOT W00t

Nice car Ras, seems like a good deal. How much milage on it?
And AJ that Civic really makes me miss mine so much :'( It looks great.. Meanwhile I finally got the Superleggeras and some nice new rubber on the SEAT. In desperate need of some low, though..

Thanks, it drives really well for being a very used car. 260.000 KM on it.

Seat looks good. Wheels are really nice on it.
New strut brace fitted. Certainly not an easy thing to get into the car..

Ended up taking me 4 hours or so to get it all fitted. I think it looks the part though!!!

Went to a cruising today and made some new evo friends

Large image.
Is that Seat basically a fancy uP!? I love it. AJ did that gen civic not come with painted door handles or mirrors over there? If not we have several yards that always have red civics I'll hook you up lol. I love your seats.

I got a bigger turbo (IS38, factory golf r turbo) this week finally. This thing hauls ass now lol. Videos to come after I install the larger intercooler.

Thanks. I don't know, mine is imported from Germany anyway. It would be much faster to just paint them if I wanted them red. W00t
Not bad, Ras. Is it your first car?

Blade it's basically a slightly cheaper VW Up! The difference is lights and fenders and some trim levels of interior, but its exactly the same car otherwise. All Up parts fit it, engine, transmission, suspension etc. is the same as well. I could basically buy an entire set of Up! lights and bumpers and it will fit straight onto my car. Throw in a VW steering wheel as well and no one will ever know Biggrin
