What happend with Skoda spark?

Regardless of who pays and what, and the age or perceived status of the vehicle, there are still smart and less smart options to choose from, and also smart and less smart reasons as to why you would make those choices. I suppose you really wanted a rear-wheel drive car with a bit of "amis" flare to it, and who am I to judge I guess W00t

But please, atleast fix the battery strap and the brakes ASAP before spending another euro on fancy wheels and other cosmetics.
I also like crappy BM's. I currently have this in my garage.

BMW E36 Estate with a 2.8 engine, cut knucles, welded diff, pollybushed everything and a short ratio diff, its a real laugh. So raw feeling and I love the noise of the six cylinder engine.

TLBiggrinR = Me answering friendly to Audiojack and questioning the people saying i half ass stuff.

Yeah, i mainly changed the passat to this, due to wanting an rwd car again, and not being able to afford a diesel anymore (+700€ insurance and 600+€ of taxes) not so much wanting an "amis" car.

And i've just fixed the battery, the strap was just loose and all.
And what comes to the brakes, the discs are just grooved a bit, and the pads pretty much match the condition. They still work fine and strong, i wouldnt be that stupid to drive a car without brakes.

And what comes to other problems, i just dont have the time and money to fix them in the time you flick your fingers, I pay for my own house and all my expenses, and i go to work too.

And to the people saying that i "half ass" my fixes or my cars are "junk on wheels" all cars that ive sold, have been 100% roadworthy, they may look like shit, have problems and seem like a total shitbox, but do you really think id be that stupid to sell death-on-wheels?

I was going to store it but I sold it to a close friend so I will still get to see it, going to buy a new project car in the next few months

My old e36 didn't have battery secured at any way as its in the trunk in its own cutout and the sturdy cables kept it in place. I guess cheap japanese cars need to strap everything down sturdy for them not to fall off Rolleyes

Having been taught at school to be a responsible car mechanic, my main concern is crash safety.
You'll think twice when the battery arcs on the chassis and explodes, would probably catch fire and leave your car looking very ugly once the emergency crews have put the fire out. petrol and oil fires are a *Removed* to extinguish because they just keep on burning.
To relieve the off topic of this off topic thread,

I've got my Evo's engine bay re-painted, engine checked while it was off and one small oil leak fixed. Also, got my new Seibon carbon trunk installed after fresh clear coat layer, and re-painting the other side with some matte black. This was also done on the already installed Seibon hood.

@Toni

That's a lot of problems lol, at least you'll learn by fixing them Smile
Looking good Roba

Yeah, cant learn if you dont try your best haha. Glad the engine is on point so i dont have to be fixing it all the time.

Sum updates again.

- Rear window wiper unit removed (didnt work, and looks better without it)
- Indicators fixed, now has a spring-loaded system, thats easy to take off in need.
- bonnet sticker removed (looks way cleaner now, hated the damn thing.)
Kidneys done in black, had some leftover paint and was bored lol.

New bolts and tyres arrived, rims should be here in a week or two :/
The Coupe is finally almost ready to be put back on the road after nearly 2.5 years of neglect.

And a bonus picture of the Aerodeck.

There's something I really like about that black Honda Accord
Tried one of the rims on the front, slight rolling needed, although the wheel is not perfectly straight in the photo, or the suspension compressed at all, so not really showing the best result. Rear arch needs a bit of rolling too (lip and a slight pull) I still need to buy some 74.1->72.6 adaptor rings and get the tyres mounted. Might need to rock a tad of camber in the front.

Also finally removed the windshield sticker+ledbar, acquired a adjustable rear suspension set for it, which is still waiting for installation.

No pics from current look, as its dirty as hell.
