My friend used to have a Skoda Octavia with a chipped 1.9 TDi. The torque felt unreal since I'm so used to low torque gas machines..
My uncle has a BMW 325 Estate (or something that way
) which is a chipped TDi with ~260HP, and I got to say that it's not bad at all!
But the truth is, the engine doesn't sound too pretty when revving.

Yup, it's finnish alright. The "famous" Black Smoke Racing W123, driven by Teemu Peltola.
Repainting the Sierra's sideskirts
Nice vid Zippy, I'm a fan of diesels
good fuel economy, high torque and usually cheap tax.
Chipping my Jetta should get some crazy results then...
Well, on the progress of solving my drainage issue on my Jetta/Bora... it turns out the drainage tube was disconnected from the "nipple" when it was rustproofed a few years ago (drilling some holes and running oil through, and it was draining into the frame. I hope it stays dry next time it rains.

It doesnt look too bad to be fair. A shame you didn't go for the VTS though. Insurance from a 1.6 8v to a 1.6 16v was only like £150 difference for me; but the power difference is definetly more than noticable.
