● Reasons as to why you feel you deserve an unban:

I still feel my report was completely valid.

I have been fined before by cops on your server. I have deserved it. I've confidently tried to prove them wrong even though I knew I had offended. I'm there to have fun, talking bullshit is part of it. They didn't lift the penalty, I drove away with less money, not complaining.

Then there is the stuff that is just not fun for anyone and should be discouraged by admins. TIBE's greed for money with his message "run :D" should be obvious enough to strip him of his rank. I had no argument or showed no bad behaviour unless you count irritatedness getting pulled over after, if you look at it using common sense, nothing happened.

I got furious after TIBE just took my wallet and took off like business as usual. I have no understanding how verbal abuse cannot be overlooked after a situation like this. I even paid good money for it!

I had not visited the site or forums before (never saw the url anywhere), so I did not know where to report this cop. Being still angry and knowing no good would be done complaining or swearing any more on the server, I requested for a place to report the copper. This time I did not use words that cannot be used in daytime television. I wrote my message a second time, because nobody had answered me in any way yet, and my impatience was understandably growing. After someone gave me the url to the forums, I shut up on the server, leaving the rest to admins.

It strikes me with wonder how even the word bullshit has been counted towards bannable verbal abuse.


I am a new face on your server, and for that reason I was mercifully only BANNED, having not even got a single warning. What do you do to people who have been around for, say, a couple months, who get angry at a cop showing lousy behaviour? I am curious, but unsure if I really want to know.

What I do want to know is, since I have seen people do it on the server, would I have got banned if I had said, "OI U F*****" instead of not using asterisks. And/or if I had asked "Where could I report this rotten heartless nazi pig not worthy of his badge?" Would it have made a difference? I will be unbanned in two days and I would like to know what to say in the future so as not to get banned.

P.S. Is it better if I would call the officer a national socialist instead of nazi? Some members of the True Finn party consider the word nazi to have a more negative tone.

I don't see how this is relevant to the unban request.

I should revoke his cop rights because he encouraged you to run? We're a cops and robber server, this is what it's all about after all. I would disagree with you on this.

Maybe you don't know how we operate here, but I'm certainly not willing to tolerate this level of abuse.

Abusing someone to this level cannot be justified. The fact you got fined 1000 euro is irrelevant. Indirectly swearing (although violating rules) is one thing, directly aiming it and someone, and using it against them, is another.

It's OK being new, everyone starts off in your position. Still no excuse to abuse others verbally though.

It wasn't just that, more so the cluster of abuse and disrespect.

Your warning is when you join the server. It says (or to the effect of) "Do not swear / abuse others". People who are more experienced in the server and have a larger record would be punished much harsher than two days. I only gave you two days because you're new and have a clean record.

Using asterisks to swear is still not allowed since it's obvious what you want to say. If you saw someone do this, please report them.

Obviously this is also abusive. Abuse is not allowed...

This will be off topic already, but I'll write here none the less.

Unfortunately to me it feels the server is more appropriately categorized robbers and victims, since the only robbing is happening by the cops.

I had driven too much to just give up on your server when I realized the only way to make serious money here is to be a cop. Some cops do their duty as is proper, but it seemed clear that money is a big motivator to become cop and direct reward for fines does affect some of their judgement.

Because of this and your enforce-every-rule-to-the-last-ridiculous-detail-with-at-least-2-day-banhammer-without-warnings moderating I don't feel comfortable coming back.

Though because I'm a nice guy, I have some improvement suggestions:

Maybe make cop&backup reward not that directly relative to amount fined to discourage power abuse.

Add a way for robbers to actually 'rob' something so as the only way to make money isn't being a cop and shaking up cruisers on your server. This might reduce the amount of police, but you could also set a multiplier for cop rewards based on amount of active cops so that it would be more likely that there would always be at least some traffic law enforcement active.

With these changes maybe there will be less reasons for people to regurgitate swearwords at oppressive cops in the future.

P.S. After writing all this I scrolled down and I see this. Nothing will ever change.

You're entitled to your opinion. If you feel this is such an issue, please create a thread in General Discussions / Suggestions.

If you follow all the road laws then you'll both a.) have no trouble and b.) make a tonne of money. In my ~4 years of playing, I've never had as much trouble as you with cops in your 2 days of playing... (in terms of greedy cops and the like). If you have a valid report, please report it. Make sure rules are really being violated, though.

That is your prerogative. No one is going to force you to stay if you don't feel welcome. And, as aforementioned, there is a brief warning about disrespect / swearing when you join the server. Maybe if you read that or used common sense, you'd have been fine. (Respecting others, in my opinion, is pretty common sense)

Don't be a hothead. If you believe someone broke a rule, this does not give you or anyone the right to swear at them - utilise common sense.

You can request another admin (perhaps a high rank) to check over the report if you deem it so necessary. The outcome will almost likely be the same. The fact you've reported two cops and both were invalid shows to me that you mean no malicious intention, but merely that you perhaps don't know how cops and robbers server properly work. Try and stick around for a little longer and you may get used to it and have fun. As for the unban request:
