If you were using a Windows 8, and you weren't very pleased about the layout and other stuff within W8, this would be for you.

Start8 from Stardock.
It has many 'old' things from Windows 7, such as the old Start menu at the bottom left. I would definitely download/buy this addon, if I had a Windows 8.
Costs only $4.99 if you buy the basic set, $0 for 30 days.
You can replace the start button with a skin that fits you.
Windows 8.1 compatible.
Well, I've Windows 8.1
And I've the same button you mention, ( Already included for Free ) .

Windows 8.1 has the Button to access the full-screen Start menu, but doesn't have the mini-screen Start menu, which the product presents.

I have made my research and seems like Start8 is the most known addon for W8. The article I mentioned is a ''competition'' between Start8 and Classic Shell about the features.
Why have windows 8.1 or 8 if you want the crappy old startbar?

I don't want the old startbar
I have the 8.1 Installed, so that I dont have to move the move to the bottom left, pressing the button works too

The reason would be, that people will buy a computer that has Windows 8 installed. They'd just be all mad about it or don't know how to use it if one had Windows 7/XP before.
I downloaded it and tryed and it was really good.
Here i can switch the icon
