I have seen that they dip eggs in bleach water, maybe not where your from. But have seen it here. Sterilization is a must as most eggs have fecal matter on them visually. Also you aren't eating egg shell Tongue

True, but sometimes it is indeed possible to buy eggs from the convenience store and incubate them. Then you can have your own pet chicks Biggrin But as you said, often this won't work.
