Park 'n' Ride - Tommer - 2012-05-27 18:07

It came to my attention the Park 'n' Ride area on the Sydney track now has a racecourse that is only accessible in a small car such as UF1 or MRT.

My suggestion is that it should be a rule that you can't take chases into there, because it's an unfair advantage that suspects have somewhere cop's cant get into.

What area are you talking about? I haven't seen it yet Smile

Then how can he explain what area he's talking about? Biggrin

It's sort of like a pull in where there's a little circuit that can be accessed by 2 little entrances which can only fit very narrow cars inside.

Its on the parking place behind the pitlane-parking place. But, couldn't the entrance and exit just be a bit bigger?

No. If its any bigger it will cause even more havoc then already. More chases go into there, more people driving around it, etc.

100% for this to be either scraped or chases can't go in there. What if a robber goes into the area and 4 coppers behind him.. bang there goes a big crash with any UF1 driving in that area.

RE: Park 'n' Ride - Roba - 2012-05-27 19:02

Well most people wouldn't still be aware of this rule, and I'd be for it to be scrapped, or modified as a parking place.

RE: Park 'n' Ride - Vee - 2012-05-27 19:07

Is this what you were doing while I was in there lol

RE: Park 'n' Ride - Malibu - 2012-05-27 19:14

Should be counted as OOB when your in a chase tbh.

RE: Park 'n' Ride - Nick - 2012-05-27 19:56

Don't get rid of it though, it's good fun...

Had no problem with chases there yet, but i see your point.

RE: Park 'n' Ride - Stephen - 2012-05-27 20:57

Just barricade the entry and exit with cop cars, then wait for him to come out. The longer the chase, the bigger the fine.

And if he never comes out and chase is full of fatter cars then UF1?

RE: Park 'n' Ride - McGherkin - 2012-05-27 22:30

Stalemate. Eventually one side will get bored and give up, or lose connection.

RE: Park 'n' Ride - Stevo - 2012-05-27 22:57

It's like the sand pit in Jamaica when the suspect is in the RB4. Just wait for them, bound to get bored and then move on.

RE: Park 'n' Ride - Leon - 2012-05-28 01:36

Well, if you have an FZ5 which is seriously more powerful and weighs the same as a small moon or just a TBO that still is nearly 5 times as powerful, you´ve got all the advantages in the world. Why can´t a tiny car like the UF1 or a gokart use theirs? I can see how it´s annoying, but as stated so many times before, if the chase is boring, then do a !lost and move on.

Cant agree more.

That's a bad comparison tbh. If the "suspect" is there and manages to get chased and also tries to escape, the cop automatically assumes that his suspect is willing to play the game. How could the cop foresee that his suspect doesn't really want the chase and stop in an unreachable place?

Imagine you play chess with someone and 2 turns before you would have won, your opponent deliberately stops moving while it's his turn? (providing no time-out been defined) And his only answer to you is "You can give up, quit the game and go away if you don't like it". Would you like to play with such a person?

No no, if fair-play has to be enforced by rules, we will do it. I hope this to happen within the next 12 hours.

RE: Park 'n' Ride - ChrisM - 2012-05-28 11:46

From what I saw going on in that area the other day, I think that something needs to be changed. There was approximately 7 or 8 cars racing around, colliding with each other, ramming etc, absolute disregard for the rules, and tbh, it's quite sad to see. It's a cruise/cops 'n' robbers server, alright, fair enough, people dislike Sydney for certain reasons, but this is certainly not the answer.

Not really expecting it to be changed, i just see it as another 1 of Chuck's little spontaneous ideas, and quite frankly, as bad one.
Just voicing my opinion. No offence intended.
