New Fleet WIP - Tommer - 2012-06-11 23:24
I figured the original Grey 6Speed Police Vehicles could do with a makeover, I thought I would show you what I've made so far, tell me if you like it or hate it! - As you can see I've tried applying the hex texture to the stickers, I think it works pretty well
I recommend zooming to 100% to see the detail

Very nice, glad to see hex is finally taking off! New age of cop skins IMO.
Nice to see it used on white as well, may have to fiddle and make some more skins...

Hm.. Just noticed that it doesn't show up at all on the blue. It seems LFS is grouping close colours together and not rendering the true definition..
Nvm, skins weren't set to full res
Very tempted to take out the base colour and see what happens when I put this underneath my stickers and such

Haha, but they look good
Photoshop is all about taking something, and making something else out of it. It's not like i've done no work making the police markings, that took a lot of work you know, and the hex thing took research! (which knowledge I shared)

Your fleet WIP looks nice!
Little tip from me: learn how to use path to cut your skins. This will get rid of all the sharp corners and smoothen the whole skin. Oh and if your videocard is strong enough turn up AA an AF for your screenshots, and turn off reflections (shine) in viewer. They are way to heavy. Ingame I would suggest replacing the reflections with something very subtle.

AA was up 12x and fullscreen'd.. For some reason it didn't work and I cbb to fix it
E; Figured it out, was turned off in gfx card settings haha
The funny thing is, I was using path's to cut my skin out, using the pen tool, but I still get a few sharp corners, but I don't mind them so much.

Gees I spend so long on a skin and ye're complaining about a stepladder effect on the edge of the car.. Feel as though you were just looking for something to complain about tbh ._.
