I've downloaded ProMods, but it says it's not compatible with my version of the game (which is 1.25. and ProMods is compatible with 1.24.)
So how am I able to downgrade to the previous patch? Will I lose all my data if I do? Or should I wait until they bring out a new ProMods compatible with 1.25.?

On Steam, right click ETS2, click on properties, click on betas, then use the 1.24.XX one, let it download and the promod map should work. Back up your save to be safe (In documents) but I haven't had a problem yet.

The promods guys have said it might be a couple weeks before the 1.25 upgrade is ready because SCS have changed some map stuff.

I like MP more myself. There is no AI traffic or anything and you have some crazy people hauling around, but it's great coming to an intersection and actually having a person there to give you some space.
And ofcourse trucking with friends is a lot of fun!
