Indeed. The Edge series is the cheap glossy version of the Thinkpad, commonly used by schools and other minor institutions these days. I picked this one up real cheap, as it has a faulty motherboard. I should be able to get some good money for the CPU, Ram, HDD, Screen, keyboard and DVD drive by selling them by themselves.

Well, if you want the hard numbers (Been keeping accounting of it since I started):

Total spent on laptops and parts since July 2012: 2980 £
Total sold for in laptops and parts since July 2012: 4682 £

Giving me a nice profit of 1702 £ in 13 months. I have sold 22 laptops in total, this means I have made an average profit of 77£ per laptop since I started.

And in excess of that, I still have an SSD, a spare battery, and a few other laptops for parts. Smile


I do also have a normal job alongside with it. :-P
