Our friend actually has an HK (H&K, whatever you want to call it) .45 ACP and I feel it's not quite as accurate as the Kimber 1911. (It may be shooter error though). Spoiler (Click to View) Variations of the Luger are actually sold in .22 target pistols that are very accurate. The advantage is within the weight balance and internals. But an original Luger just isn't accurate enough. I believe the popular version is a Ruger MkIII. Would love opinions as I'm indecisive! http://store.kimberamerica.com/Products/tabid/67/CategoryID/179/Default.aspx RE: Something New You've Got... - Stephen - 2013-12-28 08:33 (2013-12-27 23:11)Audiojack Wrote: I don't quite get the joke here, the Luger P08 is literally 114 years old and far from the best german handgun. I'm pretty sure Heckler&Koch has that honor. Are you stocking up for the apocalypse?!?!?! Nah I only need 3-5 for across two firearms. But 3 friends also have 1911s (2 Kimbers 1 colt) and these are universal. So I'm sure after range day this week I will have sold the extras. Plus it's nice to have a back up. Magazines do wear out! (n comparison To buy 2 it was $75 so 75x5 = $375 total savings $40 Or To buy 5 it was $175 so $175x2 = $350 total savings $15 RE: Something New You've Got... - Chuck - 2014-01-01 09:43 Coudnt resist any longer.
