RE: Something New You've Got... - Cola - 2014-02-13 10:20 Completely stable, although due to my super rubbish skills in a workshop, the wood somehow isn't completely straight. Also even though I sanded the wood to make it nicer for the feet, I still felt that it was pretty annoying feeling all the holes and bumps from scews etc. I had innitially planned on screwing the original metal throttle pedal back on to the wood for comfort - hence the two aligned upper holes, but it proved impossible heel-toe-shifting with that in place. So now I just taped on a soft dishrag around it, lol. Works great, and is completely reversable in case I'd want it back to standard. RE: Something New You've Got... - Weelob - 2014-02-13 10:43 Hahah due to the light I actually thought it was metal yesterday but I can see that it's wood now Not something I would do myself though I like the pedals the way they are. RE: Something New You've Got... - Toni - 2014-02-18 16:45 I dont want to use money on an old microsoft wheel that has 1 broken button, No FFB cause of broken/missing wires, one paddle shifter broken and wheel recalibrating it on corners Not so smart to waste money on old crap that isnt even made anymore if it would be a more expensive then yes i would have fixed it RE: Something New You've Got... - Cola - 2014-02-18 17:54 Got a new Thinkpad! This time, a T510i. Features an i3 330M, 4GB of ram and a 15,6'' LED screen. Condition is really good, even though seller thought it was quite bad. I put on two missing buttons from a spare keyboard I had lying around. Only thing that needs doing really, is the touchpad surface. The touchpad itself works fine, it's just the actual surface that is coming off.
