RE: Something New You've Got... - Marty - 2014-05-04 20:35 Nah, a post it This is what I've got: A Mamiya 645 Mediumformat camera. With 2 lenses for 350 euros. Good deal if you ask me: RE: Something New You've Got... - Cola - 2014-05-05 15:03 Nice camera, Marty! I got some stuff today: Mah 'new' Dell XPS 1640 just like the other one, this one is in better condition though: My dad just returned from Hamburg, he got me this, lol: And my 5 metres of red LED lights arrived today: RE: Something New You've Got... - Toni - 2014-05-05 17:07 I myself have been thinking ´bout buying some blue led "wire" and put it under my desk to make it look nice at night lol. RE: Something New You've Got... - Ash - 2014-05-05 17:11 How are the LED's powered? RE: Something New You've Got... - Leon - 2014-05-05 17:13 (2014-05-05 17:11)Ash Wrote: How are the LED's powered? RE: Something New You've Got... - Cola - 2014-05-05 17:15 Currently via. a 12V MOLEX connector, that I have in an old 350W computer powersupply that I shorted out with a connector I bought on ebay. It'll also run fine with a dedicated charger, that can be bought several places on ebay. I plan on using some under my table, some behind my screens, and then some in my PC case. RE: Something New You've Got... - Ash - 2014-05-05 17:17 So this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-12V-2A-Power-Adapter-Transformer-Extension-Line-For-3528-5050-LED-Strip-Light-/251394827413? And I would have to cut off the ends and then solder the wires together? RE: Something New You've Got... - Cola - 2014-05-05 17:24 Yes, that should work. My LED's (the 3528's) are the smaller ones, which only needs 0,4A per metre, so that DC12V 2A adapter should provide enough power to run 4-5 metres. But I must warn you, the LED's the furthest away from the power-source does get quite hot. I would not recommend using more than 2M on the same power source. So see if you can find a similar product with a max. of 1A instead, that should be good enough, and also 2 x 1A power adapters are roughly the same price as 1 x 2A.
