Hardly Pirellis fault the tire desaster. They could have easily prevented it, but weren't allowed to do so.

MP429 - McLaren 2014 Formula 1 Car
McLaren were the second team to launch their car, though the sponsors are not yet present, it looks like McLaren and Mercedes may have a similar livery this year once again.

E22 - Lotus 2014 Formula 1 Car
Lotus have taken a somewhat different approach to their front wing, 2 prongs instead of one. There is already discussion as to whether this is legal.

lol ... a (long) time ago the cars were allowed to look like anything. I remember having seen a 6 wheeled F1 car....

In my opinion, Mclaren has just copied Mercedes livery. I liked the combination of their old one - red and silver. It looked good..

I can live with the Mclaren, although they should've used the below livery to disguise the ugliness a little:

However, the Lotus just looks weird. One of the "noses" is around 5 cms further forward than the other to meet the regulations, but from the top view it doesn't look great.

Looking forward to the rest of the launches next week -- Ferrari also launch theirs today I believe.

The Ferrari looks really good this year. I'm not so much into the sound of these V6 turbos. They sound rather dull and boring.

I like deep sounding engines rather than those usual screaming F1 racers, so im happy with the sound in the video as it is 'deep'.
