RE: Me. Yes, you get to see me. Drumming. - Street - 2011-10-08 13:14 I'm hoping to record a cover of Almost Easy, it depends on whether or not I'll actually be allowed to record more RE: Me. Drumming. - McGherkin - 2011-10-09 03:48 How about The Ace Of Spades? Good drumming though (Map of the Problematique by Muse has a good drum beat to it, but I guess it's kinda repetitive :/) RE: Me. Drumming. - Street - 2011-10-10 18:56 Would kinda defeat the point of doing a drum cover if I just did one that was about 1:30 of me not drumming at the start Uploading another as we speak, with a bit of luck the syncing'll be right this time. Drumming. - Crazy - 2011-10-23 15:22 This is great Dave, I actually wish I was that good at drumming. Seems some people have that talent to keep a steady beat, and you have it, good sir. Where are you drumming? That would be sick if you had that setup in your house, instead of driving to a studio or something. RE: Me. Yes, you get to see me. Drumming. - Street - 2011-10-24 12:37 I'm trying to get hold of a set of drum mics and a multi channel input for use at home so I can do more recordings, and on my kit at home (which is significantly better than the one I was using at college ) Thanks for the comments RE: Me. RE: Me. Yes, you get to see me. Drumming. - Street - 2011-10-24 14:57 Well, I started in 2003 when I got a drum kit for christmas, passed my Grade 1 in 2004 (Distinction), passed my Grade 5 in 05 (Pass), then kinda gave up (I still played, but I didn't have any bands, I didn't practice at all, I didn't really do any drumming at all). Picked it up midway through last year when I joined a band for the first time ever, and so properly (not just learning stuff purely for grades), I've been playing for about 1 year and 5 months. I already had quite a lot of the skills needed like, stored in my head from when I first played, but 5 years is a long time and I've progressed a lot since I restarted last year |
