RE: Total Solar Eclipse 2015 - Warped - 2015-03-20 10:41 I saw it too. Gladly the weather was clear here, it was pretty awesome. RE: Total Solar Eclipse 2015 - Toni - 2015-03-20 12:13 Was nice, checked it thru a Welding mask at work, couldnt take a pic though. RE: Total Solar Eclipse 2015 - Venom - 2015-03-20 12:36 Here we had total clear sky so I could see it easily with welding glass. And yeah, in the moment of highest coverage it was pretty dark, the sun was about 80% covered. Unfortunately my phone didnt catch it at all. But still the photos look cool: Spoiler (Click to View) Spoiler (Click to View) RE: Total Solar Eclipse 2015 - Connor - 2015-03-20 13:08 Massive anti-climax for me, so cloudy! RE: Total Solar Eclipse 2015 - Leon - 2015-03-20 13:58 I drove to Tórshavn (the capital city) where the weather forecast promised the greatest chance of viewing the eclipse. Unfortunately - and as usual - the forecast was wrong and it was heavily overcast there and you could hardly see a thing. To top it all off, the skies turned perfectly clear in my hometown less than 20 minutes before the eclipse took place. Typical. Anyway, here's a video from our local publice service provider. The eclipse starts somewhere around the 1:01 mark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Egm1Z5OYcU#t=8021 Edit: Apparently embedding doesn't work as there's two cameras to choose from. Edit2: Sky News were here and got some footage as well. RE: Total Solar Eclipse 2015 - Pete - 2015-03-20 14:20 It was very similar weather when I viewed the 1999 solar eclipse in Cornwall. It was still amazing though. RE: Total Solar Eclipse 2015 - Nick - 2015-03-20 15:06 I can't believe I got up early for this. RE: Total Solar Eclipse 2015 - BP - 2015-03-20 16:49 It went a bit darker than usual. Radical.
