You can't compared it to that. A hazard triangle isn't attached to the car all the time. You can move your car around after having set it up.

It could be handy for cops and HwA to be able to move about a little bit with !hazard staying on, for example if the towing scene moves further up the road, and you'd like to move your car and !hazard up a bit or if you want to stick it on when starting to brake for the crash scene with cars coming up behind. That's what cops do in real life when using signs on the back of their car (like Keep Back, etc)

So, this suggestion was about having the visual on-screen hazard lights on, but the user who placed it can move one's car? If so, I might have misunderstood it.

Yes, that's the point indeed, that the person can move while it has been set-up. It now disables if you move a few meters.

So the (disable after xx meters) should be increased

I still want it to be visible from a longer distance :3

But yes, move a little bit could be nice, so annoying when someone pass your car to close hits it very softly and the hazard if off agian.
