What's missing in my opinion:

- A Proper V8 Car
- A 4-door car, Wither with a beefy V6 or some Turbo motor
- Something like a LMP1 car
- Maybe a V8 LX
- Something like a GT2/GT3
- Something between the Uf1 and the XFG (Maybe a Turbo UF1 or a non-turbo FXO?)

I could go on like this for ages.

I'm thinking the same. A RWD 4-door with 300'ish horses. And something like a Corvette/Challenger/Camaro type of V8 with over 400 bhp. I really just want more TBO and FZ5 kind of cars for S3.
I also wish there would come one or two Westhill kind of tracks with smaller roads.

LX8 should be pretty much a given, since it was almost released as original S2(?) content.

IIRC the whole DP1 thing was a discussion between Bob Smith and (one of?) the guys working on the DP1. Bob uses the VHPA for various real world cars, so its presence in there doesn't imply any connection with LFS at all.
It wouldn't surprise me if there was some communication with the devs about it though; I was wondering about it at the time.
The silhouette image probably has nothing to do with LFS at all, it's just the VHPA default image.

On to wishful thinking:

Some kind of big 4dr (Commodore/Falcon type) which would make sense to have V6+V8 road variants and V8SC like ~800HP race car (would also work as NASCAR, but handle way better ).
NGTC style touring car (>350HP, bigger than XFR, FWD & RWD to add some BTCC variety), also would probably be usable as a proper rally car with a 4WD variant. 600HP rallycross version would be nice as well.
I agree on something LMP1 style.
An actual go-kart would be nice (maybe the small Westhill track is a hint?)

I have actually been in a Ginetta, great cars. Although I don't know if that would fall into a TBO or GTi class? I think the road version is just like a Mazda MX5 or something.

I would love to see a larger SUV or other 4WD type car. Also some classic stuff and something with a V8. A proper supercar would be pretty cool too.

A Mx5 variant would be great. The RAC was a special car but it's missing proper handling.

For S3 to follow S1 and S2 you're looking at 10+ cars at least so Elmo's guess is probably on point.

They are yes, there are many different models though and Elmo mentioned the Ginetta juniors which is a low class for 16 year olds so they have smaller engines afaik.

It's either a naturally aspirated MX-5 or a Ford Zetec engine.

(I could be totally wrong)

The G55 and the GT3 would be up there in that class though, but it would be fun to have another car in the GTi
