TBH, I don't see any reason why anyone would nominate a post which involves someone getting banned. Yes, they deserve the ban, but no they do not deserve any public ridicule for it.

There isnt any need for go fast. If you PIT the suspect , the suspect slow down. There is some manouvers which can make the suspect slow down , so , he is a great cop ( i nominated him too ) but he is a nubislow Biggrin

In regards to those people nominating posts from a few years back; if I'm not mistaken, aren't only posts from this year eligible for an award? This doesn't count for threads though.

People nominated old posts last year too IIRC. No one mentioned anything about not being allowed to do it

Well the most popular threads i.e. Something New You've Got... and Show us your ride! have always been nominated as the best threads even though they've been made several years back in time. No one has said anything about this before so I'm not that familiar with our policy regarding nominating threads from the previous year(s). But I assume you may do so.
