It should remain as common sense being the dominant factor here. As everyone's already said, if the COP thinks it's safe and definitely needed to lightly push the interfering car out the way, by all means. I won't take any action on that.

No rule is needed here to be honest.

This.

I already move someone interfering myself.

Often times when we are in a pursuit many people have complete disregard of the siren and tend to get too close, overtake or even interfere with the pursuit. So there's no end to it except if an admin is witnessing the chase and removes this player, or report him after he wrecks your chase.

I want to stop that the second it happens. I want to suggest that cops shall be given the ability to be able to use force against those who interfere/overtake/get close to pursuits. This does not mean ram them. This means to perform a light P.I.T, box or even a slight push to get them off your way. It doesn't do too much damage on you or the intruder.

To summarize this; Give cops the LEGAL ability to use force on people who disregard police sirens and are being involved(interfering/overtaking) in the pursuit.

Please take this into consideration. Disregard and disrespect is getting out of hand.

Hi there,

I do disagree with the idea but I do see where you are coming from, because I do feel like cops should have a right to push the offending users car away from a chase because they are interfering but there is a specific reason why it isn't done in real life and that's because it does inevitably cause crashes which is something that [TC]'s server's as a whole needs to avoid being so busy.

Look, on the other hand it's a unwritten rule that you can do that within reason, but I feel that it constitutes a 'ram' if you over do it, and it would also mean that normal civilian users can just 'touch' or 'bump' a user out the way just because they've seen cops do it as well.

It needs a lot of clarification but it's mainly down to the Administrators discretion at the end of the day and I wouldn't recommend it.

At the end of the day, people blocking chases are ruining the fun but having a "rule" that cops can do that will only mean they'll take advantage of it.

There have been a few topics in the past, some admins don't mind if you guide them out of your way because they're breaking server rules anyway.

I don't agree COPs should be given the right to do it immediately. As you said:

That will get abused so easily.

+1. Nothing more is needed.

Like everyone has said. This is something that simply requires common sense. Not much more can be said.

Not everything can be written down, as a rule, it's just impractical and not necessary (Or shouldn't be at least).
Just be aware, when you do interact with the "rule breaker" you may put yourself at risk if you do not act correctly. Like BP said, perform any actions SAFELY (Minimal force/contact and out of the way of other drivers) and as a LAST RESORT.
Confront or Report the User afterwards and give a decent explanation including what your intentions where. People will most likely have divided opinions about it, that's why you must be careful if you decide to "move" the driver out of the way.

Unfortunately, not everybody respects the rules, so not much more can be encouraged regarding this situation.
