Perhaps a redesign of the layout is required? There are a good few users saying there are excessive barriers and you said it yourself Pete its hard to get into a good Rhythm.
All for the Double £ though

I had a crack at it in my free time yesterday and I gave up within 15 minutes... It's a weird track to lyt on and any changes I made would destroy the following junction, for example. The infield can be improved, but it'd take a whole lot of time...
On barriers, the only other options would be to have just a classic 'double yellow' middle line or those kerbs like in Sydney. But then again, crashers + people who dislike the kerbs and you get back to square one..
