Wouldn't surprise me if they try censor it everywhere...

It's more likely they bring down the site then censor it for me.

Bez: Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.....

It's a 64 bit browser mostly based on Firefox code, you can do all the same things with it, addons/themes/plugins etc.

I'm gonna try this Waterfox, 64bit firefox sounds fast(er)

Kaching, all the other providers are going to have to block Thepiratebay aswell....Welcome to the future guys, where a single tiny organization can allow you to browse the internet or not.

Censorship is like telling a man he can't have his steak because a baby can't chew it.

Is pirating destroying the music industry? No, new music is being sold faster than ever, this graph from the RIAA pretty much proves this, since this graph only accounts for legal downloads

It's stupid to try to censor people, and criminalize what has become the known norm..

I think it's only a matter of time, because almost our entire government is against this 'censorship'. And above that, they aren't allowed to block proxies.

Haha, still available here, even though my ISP is on the list of those who block it.

When they do block it, hello VPN.

They are about to sign the 'net neutralisatie', but it won't affect the results of those courts.

That's why I said it's a matter of time, not a matter of signing something that already passed. Glare

Tommer, in all fairness, it's never been legal to illegally download copyrighted material. They're not criminalizing it, they're cracking down on it.

RE: Piratebay.se blocked by most ISP's - Zipppy - 2012-05-11 06:05

I heard TPB's moving their website to tiny air drones. the drones have the magnet links, and that's it.

RE: Piratebay.se blocked by most ISP's - Malibu - 2012-05-11 09:38

I read something about them experimenting with it yeah Tongue

Its different here. Downloading is pretty legal here, but you can't 'share' it with anyone. Hence Brein doesn't have a feet to stand on if it comes to Usenet. Thumbup

RE: Piratebay.se blocked by most ISP's - Hexta - 2012-05-12 06:10

And that's why the Virgin Media site has been getting DDoSed the past week (alot).

The government must think we've never heard of a proxy or VPN before.

RE: Piratebay.se blocked by most ISP's - Tommer - 2012-05-12 12:02

Wasn't sky meant to be blocking TPB? I can still access it fine without a proxy and I'm on sky O.o

I've never really had any trouble accessing piratebay, even though it has been blocked off by Saunalahti (my provider) for ages now. I don't even use proxies.
