I like Westhill and i also think the layout fits it quite well.

The winner of that competition was to be played for one map cycle, that fact was stated clearly in advance.

I like westhill, and so do many more people.
If you don't like it, go to the other servers, or stay away until some other tracks comes by.

A proper suggestion will get you way further than what you just did.

RE: Ditch Westhill. - Johan. - 2012-05-06 18:17

Westhill is a nice track. Infact, its harder to really drive on it than it is on Montana, thats what makes it a fun track.

RE: Ditch Westhill. - Tommer - 2012-05-06 18:22

What's ironic about this argument thread is it means that everyone is overlooking my layout suggestion thread because nobody is replying to it even though I spent so much time on it Sad

Take a look at my layout and reply on it what you think of it for me please before it gets buried and forgotten under new complaint threads Tongue I did spend quite some time on it you know

I like Westhill. Ohmy Shoot me.

Same old moany thread we usually have if the map doesn't get changed quick enough to satisfy one's boredom.

Not gonna quote all of what Street wrote, but he has a point.

RE: Ditch Westhill. - FR4NOx - 2012-05-07 03:07

I'm pretty neutral about Westhill, it's not my favorite, but I still like it.
How long had Westhill been on currently? (just out of curiosity)

Tommer, your layout is nice but your over-advertising of your layout is getting really annoying.

RE: Ditch Westhill. - Knight - 2012-05-07 07:04

Tommer, it seems to me like everytime you dont like something you recreate it and if you dont get your way you have a dummy spit? Lets just forget that and wait the normal map rotation.

RE: Ditch Westhill. - Ras - 2012-05-07 07:50

Cant say im a fan of Westhill, but instead of being annoyed about it, i use the time on something else like playing other games or do some real life stuff, and let the people who like the track, have it. Then its also extra nice when the track gets changed to something i like.

RE: Ditch Westhill. - Stephen - 2012-05-07 09:11

mmm... nah.

RE: Ditch Westhill. - Brad - 2012-05-07 10:58

I really enjoy blasting round Westhill in my LX6 - it's a great track to push the limits on. Obviously with it being closed, it's not going to be as fun to cruise on, but if I wanted to cruise I would go to the other server.

Fingers crossed we are treated to a completely new LFS track before too long to mix things up a bit. (dreaming? possibly.)

Thats why theres a place to put suggestions and people can say what they think about it!

IMO, a new layout would bring little chance for it but Westhill is a good track. Me personally, dont like Kyoto. Not a bit. I hate it actually, but still, I just drive, thats the main thing. And if I really dont want it then I wont drive as long as that track is on TC server. I come back when theres another one on.

Don't worry, I'll be the next one this week if I have some time to cruise around, you'll hear from me.

2nd week for Westhill now
1st week for Blackwood

So, Westhill will be changed Saturday to Montana (if my calendar is right), Blackwood will be changed one week later.

Thanks. Smile

Shame no one likes South City..

RE: Ditch Westhill. - Johan. - 2012-05-08 00:12

Oh its a fun track to drive, you just have to get the hang of it. And have a nice setup. I got one, wich is the hang. I just lack the setup, and that makes the 'faster' driving pretty hard.

If it was 'more open', if all roads were linked and all junctions fully opened, it would be a TC dream.

Sydney is a really fun track to drive, especially to drive round quickly. It is just another track that is more fun when full.

RE: Ditch Westhill. - James - 2012-05-08 01:31

Indeed. I pretty like it as really, it offers more of a chance to cruise in a more "suitable" environment.
