Nah. You only need 3 buttons (or however many channels you want)

Write a script called Chase1 or whatever.
Code:
/say !c Switching to Chase1,
/say !channel Chase1

One script does it all. Bind that script to a button, and you're done in one buttonpress.

If the suspect gets on the channel, then that's just like someone buying a police scanner IRL.

Having channels for that purpose is a stupid idea tbh.
Just get something like BP suggested. You'd only need to change some binds, and you're done.

Channels aren't meant for chases, they were meant for private chatting. Plus, during a chase, I also want to be able to stay in my own channel in case someone says something I would want to know.

You just don't want people to find out what the TT channel is Wink

I don't see how that's related to this?

Sounds largely impractical. I want to focus on driving and my suspect not be faffing around with hotkeys. Furthermore, you honestly think suddenly telling everyone to add an extra 4 hotkeys and drop there team chat is going to go seamlessly? Nah. lol

It was a joke Wink

I guess I just find it easy to use scripts and binds to get LFS to do what I want it to do. In fact switching to a different channel for a chase is more realistic IMO since it's done in real life to keep the main channel clear.

BP's idea is easyest, !cg shouldnt be so hard to remember.
!C for the chase you allready are in and "!cg roadblock request!"

Sweet idea easy and simpel, why do a thing more complicated than it's neccesary Smile
