Well I think the lights on makes it look warmer, but the lights off one is more of a nightshot...

the tree is bent because the top 3rd has actually broken off when it fell over. It's only balanced on top lol

Lights off defineatly, it makes pic more welcoming and christmasy.
Small advise tho: Composition of those pics arent ideal. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Composition_%28visual_arts%29
