I received a gift from my grandad who recently bought a new guitar and handed down his current one. It's a Taylor (Not Taylor Swift Daniel...) electroacoustic and my god, it's a beautiful one.

That Taylor is gorgeous! My Grandad has a Taylor too, it looks almost the same as the one above, does it have an satin finish? Guitars are always worth a lot more when they are a gift. My most prized guitar is a Yamaha LA-8 my Grandad gave to me on my 12th bithday, I play it every day Smile

Looks great! Biggrin

It has a glossy flamed finish on the top, and a typical Taylor satin finish around the sides and back with a smooth neck. The sound is just extraordinary! Warm, tight, clear and full of bass, just quality Smile

I had one gifted before, (it was damaged by airport security years ago when he went abroad and I repaired it) and recently I gave that back to its original owner who now lives in Australia and ever since I've wanted another acoustic Sad Today was the day apparently, which was a pleasant surprise!

Well I, probably being one of the only Bass players of the community, finally got myself a Fleabass (Model 32) from Musician's Friend! A beautiful colour and finish, and slapping it just sounds...orgasmic, yeah. Smile

It's THE BEST Bass around to play Funk to and is extremely rare since Flea pulled them a while back but this one was going for around £800, being able to pull it down to £700! I'm just loving the Signature Basses at the moment. Tongue

Now I just need a Rickenbacker 4003 and I'm set, ahaha.

Got a new modem/router to replace my shitty mobile internet, basically has the same speed as it, but now runs the connection thru the phonelines or whatever they are called.

Only difference in this one is that my ping in [TC] servers dropped from constant 150-200 to 70-110!
