Great work guys! Hope you all had fun racing in it! Smile

Very unlucky end for Pete there from what I heard. Sad Does that mean the whole team gets DNFed? Or can they classify you with one more lap on your counter and essentially you finish another lap down? Because that would be a lot fairer and you'd only lose a few positions.

Oh god yea... Hard luck, mate. Sad

RE: CityLiga 10 Hours of Westhill - Sam - 2015-06-20 21:34

Last stint was fun, wasn't sure how much fuel I had left (Didn't want to accidentally hit my binds again so couldn't check) and I had somehow caught back up to the guy in front (battling for position) so I tried to drive the wheels of the thing to make sure if I needed to pit, I had enough time! Then I got side swiped on the straight, then hut on the last lap and still kept the position.

Thanks to my team members Kieran and Spark for doing the race with me and making it an enjoyable experience, I think we did ok for our first ever time doing something like this so I'm happy, we even got up to 16th at the end of my first stint Biggrin Also thank you to Pete for helping us out, wouldn't have been as quick in quali or even the race without his help

Classified 11th after timing out on the last lap of my 4th stint from 8th place.

To sum it up, the team was great, Timo and Yann were great to drive with and we had a great 10 hours. Commentating on the stream was also good fun, albeit only for 3 hours. Thanks to Dave and Mike for organising the stream.

Our race started well, by the end of my first stint we were in 7th. At a few points during the race we got up to 5th but a few sluggish stints from us meant we gradually dropped back. At the end of the day we finished where we qualified and we had a brilliant day so it's all good.

Congratulations to CSR on a good result in your first proper enduro.

If anyone enjoyed watching the stream and wishes they'd have competed, be sure to check out what else CityLiga has to offer. CityLiga Season 21 will be starting a month so keep your eyes on their website, facebook page and on our forum for updates.

Glad you got your proper place back Pete, you more than deserved it, charged hard the whole race!

Although I'm sure that James isn't human, getting a 1:46.92 on R3's, I'll have to watch the replay and see how he does it.

Looking forward to season 21 of CityLiga, but how does this whole Grid 1, Grid 2, Grid 3 system work? Slowest qualifiers go on Grid 3 and it works its way forward?

Nice screenshot Spark, its now my background!

RE: CityLiga 10 Hours of Westhill - Pete - 2015-06-21 07:39

Every couple of races there is a grid qualifying in which all entered drivers get upto 10 qualifying laps on the grid quali server to set a time.

The top 10 in the rankings do not need to set a GQ time (All drivers need to set a time in the first grid quali).

There is also a green-card system whereby if you have driven in 3 out of the last 4 races you will automatically be allocated a spot in the lowest grid unless you set a time of course.

The total number of drivers who set at least one lap and the green-card drivers will determine the grids for the next 3 races. If there are 80+ drivers there will be 3 grids, 40+ there will be 2 grids and <40 there will be 1 grid. This means if the total number of drivers is 90 and you set a time good enough for 31st, you will be first on Grid 2 because each grid would have 30 drivers in this case.

The rules and regs are on their site, I suggest you check them out.
