Details: Cops in chase must be within a 40m wide x 10 second long trace behind the suspect OR within a 50m radius to the suspect to be considered "in contact".

Note: This may not be the final version. We need to collect experiences on how good this works.

-Upg: Car breakdown message apprears earlier. (~5km before breakdown, depeding of service status)
-Upg: More precise breakdown messages appear every 10 seconds in the chat.

-Fix: Speedtraps should no longer pick up cars with a significant height difference (ie bridges)
-New: Speedtraps are now powered by a virtual battery that needs to be charged in a Safe Zone. One load is good for 10 minutes.
-Chg: Speedtraps now have an additional status ("calibrating") and the assembly time is a bit longer and random.
-Chg: Increased minimum number of players for idle kick to 33
-Fix: Players can no longer respond to their own SOS calls
-Fix: Players can no longer respond twice to the same call
-Chg: SOS call distances are now calculated in reference to the place of call rather than the caller's current position
-Fix: Players responding to a SOS call were able to switch to civilian and were still rewarded RPs

Current options
tccol : Colour for !tc chat (default 5)
cccol : Colour for !cc chat (default 5)
lcol : Colour for !l / !local chat (default 5)
ccol : Colour for !c / !cop chat (default 6)
xcol : Colour for !x (same-chase) chat (default 6)
chcol : Colour for !ch chat (default 3)
pmcol : Colour for !pm chat (default 5)
requestcol : Colour for !request message (for DJs)

Colour values range from 0 to 8 .
Example "!setopt lcol 1" would make local messages red. Color codes are equal to LFS colours. Hold CTRL while chatbox is open to see the colours or use this image:

Don't forget, counting starts at zero!

force_mouse : [0/1] (default 0) Simulate usage of mouse (=No clickable buttons, ie Home or SOS) Useful for Oculus Rift users or similar setups
show_speedlimit : [0/1] (default 1) Show or hide the round-shaped speedlimit sign.

-Fix: Fixed a synchronisation bug that could cause licenses not to be loaded correctly. (hopefully)
-Upg: Cops in chase now have an additional 200m/60deg zone ahead of the car to prevent loss of contact to suspects in clear sight.
-Upg: Improved join-mode. Joining cops must now be closer to the suspect to enter chase mode (5 secs behind the suspect instead if 10) to make it more safe.
-New: New option for cops "chase_debug"(0/1) to enable debug output.

  • New: Coloured dot when failure to stop fine is given, indicating the selected fine level (green: low, yellow: suggested, red: high)
  • Chg: If a player receives a speeding fine and later fails to stop, the failure to stop fine will never be lower than the speeding fine.
  • Fix: Home menu should no-longer disappear if player is not on track
  • New: If a HwA initialises a chase, backup will be automatically called when suspect fails to stop
  • Chg: XP and won/lost stats are no-longer applied when a HwA leaves a chase
  • Chg: Backup info again shown to HwA if they are in a chase
  • Chg: Backup notifications in chat no-longer play a sound to HwA

-Upg: Improved ramp for tows: !ramp+/- [height] - Adds a variable ramp from 0.25m to 4.00m. (1=0.25m ... 16=4.0m) (default=8 ~2.0m)

Note: You do not need to do !ramp- to change the height.
Note 2: The lower ramps may not show up, they're for sloped grounds.
Note 3: Ramps are to be used with caution. They're no toys.

-New: !tct <text> - Send translated text to TC chat.
-New: !lbc <text> - Send local broadcast message (50m range)

** Notes:
The winch allows tow-cars to flip damaged cars instantly. However, any damage will remain. Since the device is electric, it must be (re)charged in a safezone.

The power required differs per towed car type. Currently, it's linked to car-points * 10.
Example: UF1=10%, FXO=30%, FZ5=40%, FZR=70%

Important notice: This function is a tool, not a toy. Any abuse may result in revocation of tow/med/res license or more.
