I like Pete's idea in theory, but Chuck is correct that the lack of clear priority means it'll be chaos if applied to the server.

Unless you draw 3 chalk roundabouts so everyone knows that priority is given to left traffic?

Now tested both and i prefer the roundabout. It's more smooth to drive through, easier to understand (obvious right of way). I love how the little road from Bridge East to Hw2 is not there (parking area now). Also it reminds me of Sydney's style because it's kind of tight, but not too tight, which is a bonus.

I feel bez roundabout gets a bit narrow at some exits, and i feel Pete's sugestion have to much thing in the way, like the small barriers, the speeddumps..

I know it may get hate from some people but if you really want to fix the problem just close the entrance to the left for hw2 and work yourself out of that.

that. plus the endless yield lines. meanwhile dislike both ideas.

maybe this inspires some1 to do it properly:

only "problem" is longer/difficult way devils-to-bridge west(wrongway invite) and the bridge-bridge connection. apart from that i feel its wide and smooth to drive. hardly dangerous highspeed-crossings.
also not sure about the right of way from devils, or better from bridge east.

Here is my suggestion. I tried few roundabouts then i tried few combination like Barney but closing roads and for this kind of map it is a sin! After hard think i got idea for great layout. Then i did NOTHING.

In these times we have roundabout anywhere and do you know why? Because it is forcing bad driver to drive correctly. Isn't better let cops explain and protect this type of junctions?

From my view is roundabout boring for driving. When you are incoming on roundabout you need check only left side but on junctions you MUST be sure there is not incoming car on main road. This gives some "brain activity" in driving and not that only boring viewing ahead.

V2 Blocked turning right onto HW2 (This one of the big wrongsiding issued) it is now a parking area.

We tried removing the slip roads but that just killed the roundabout.

If people want to rush the layout they can do it single player.
If people want to drive very fast they can go on a race server.

I see no problem making it more safe with forcing us to drive slower.

In real life they do not avoid building a roundabout since they already got 5 others in the area. No they build it since it have a better traffic flow and what ever the other reasons are.

The poll says that most want this changed and i really dont see the problem having a trial period, what ever the "high rank" people say. It's a community not a dictatorship.

You can even keep the old layout on server two if you want.
