Fraps and then run it through Windows Live Movie Maker before uploading.

I really want to do a chase video too - but with an upload speed of 0.4MBs, it takes an EXTREMELY long time to upload the video to YouTube - any idea how I can reduce the size cosiderably?

When I have fraps running and I try to play on full screen, LFS stops working Sad

I make it windowed when recording, to get more FPS. But it does work either way.

I've the same issue. I generally compress the file through video editing software (windows movie maker will probably do the trick) to make it abit smaller for uploading without losing too much quality.

I don't like to reduce the quality drastically as it makes the video less enjoyable. Generally I wait to do my uploading until when i'm going to bed and let it upload overnight.. Pain in the neck I know (First world problems Tongue)

Lowered some settings and the resolution slightly, to make the playback somewhat fluent. Seems my used-to-be gaming PC is getting tired. Tongue

Had to do it in two parts, couldn't find a good MP4 merger that didn't have their watermarks all over it, and FRAPs splits it up because I have the free version.
