To be fair, I was never battling against Botsi, Mickiewicz, or even Szarka, I knew better Biggrin

Ya that tactic only works with people who try to race everyone Biggrin

I don't know how I should feel about being promoted to grid 1 lol. I'm not sure how it's going to effect my points for the next couple of races.

RE: CityLiga 22 - Discussion - Pete - 2016-04-28 14:24

Getting promoted into grid 1 at the end of a season is better than at the beginning of the season. There are fewer people driving and therefore you get more of a shot at the higher points.

Remember that a win in grid 2 is still only equal to 15th in grid 1. Fifth in grid 2 is equal to 19th in grid 1.

You should profit from being moved up.

And besides, it means I've finally got more people to battle with. Tongue

Practice will be happening on [TC] Racing tonight. I'll lift the password if people fancy some short races.

RIP me

RE: CityLiga 22 - Discussion - Carl - 2016-05-09 20:31

For my first ever race being a grid one driver, I didn't do too bad. The difference between the grids is insane.

The stream from today is up.

Was a fun race, pretty pleased with my performance this round considering the lack of time I had to practice, although I lost silly amounts of time in the pits I know to work on them in future.

Feel bad for you Spencer, we had a really good race up until that point!

Was interesting to watch back. A lot of lag happened during the race, one close call with Elmo. Tongue

Brilliant race but I just couldn't find the pace I had on Sunday night. I struggled a lot at the beginning with the tyres. Hopefully I can keep with the top guys for the remaining 3 races because that way we're in for one hell of a title battle.

Good job bailing out of that one...

It's a shame there wasn't a crash! Biggrin ...you know, spectators do appreciate that Tongue

RE: CityLiga 22 - Discussion - Pete - 2016-05-10 17:00

There were crashes, the stream didn't capture them!

RE: CityLiga 22 - Discussion - Carl - 2016-05-10 17:10

They should have focused on the middle of the grid at the start of the race, if it was possible because that's where it was most busy. As the race went on and people made pit-stops there was not much action until the last 4-5 laps.
