Yeah, and I had played with him before the VAC. After he got banned it said "Party member banned" on my screen. I lost a couple wins and Supreme, which I luckily got back after one game.

They updated the ranks so they would be harder, but it only deranked me to supreme from global. So I guess it applies more for the lower ranks with less elo points?

https://csgosquad.com/ranks Thats what happened to ranks. Not that theres still not bad globals/supremes because i rekted them hard yesterday as mg2(dmg now lol) when playing with few GE friends
The old system was stupid, you could be so bad and still get to lem/supreme if you just happened to get enemies just as bad as you.. I love how everyone started crying when they were deranking, i'd be global/supreme some day hopefully when it has some meaning instead when everyone who has some brain activity can achieve it with luck
Oh, and my smurf got overwatch banned for cheating without me ever cheating, not even in non-vac servers in css 10 years ago lol.. Actually i think its because my game had some bugs with old pc like always not seeing smokes and stuff :/
