Here's a link to the full album, but here are my favourites. The iPhone has such a great camera IMO, brilliant to always have in my pocket. Spoiler (Click to View) RE: The big thread of photography... - Cola - 2013-10-10 20:18 Those pictures do look exceptionally good, and especially coming from the camera of a phone. RE: The big thread of photography... - Luke - 2013-10-10 21:15 Its impressive how clear the camera is when theirs enough light, personally i love the Xperia Z's camera, it gives clear and sharp shots like the iphone but also gives some really nice pictures in low light. Also got some more photos from the Lake district taken on an Xperia Neo (12.7MP) Spoiler (Click to View) RE: The big thread of photography... - Johan. - 2013-10-11 01:29 Yeah, when there's enough "proper" lightning, phone-camera's can be pretty damn sweet these days. Does someone remember those .3mp or 1.3mp camera's 10 years ago?! RE: The big thread of photography... - Roba - 2013-10-11 09:37 (2013-10-11 01:29)Johan. Got a Samsung Xcover with a 2mp camera RE: The big thread of photography... - Luke - 2013-10-11 14:34 And now there is the Xperia Z1 with the 20.7MP camera. Which is insane! And it is waterproof which is freakin awesome RE: The big thread of photography... - Luke - 2013-10-11 15:22 I'm keen to know whether it can take photos underwater as it does have a flat lens and i have heard rumors that it can. Although i believe you cant use the touch screen underwater RE: The big thread of photography... - Nick - 2013-10-12 11:35 Megapixels are over-rated RE: The big thread of photography... - Luke - 2013-10-12 14:09 All the photos i took above my last post were with a 5MP phone camera RE: The big thread of photography... - Cola - 2013-10-12 15:12 MP doesn't matter at all. It's the sensor and all the stuff like that, which is really important. MP is just a way of measuring how big the image is. For example your desktop PC screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 (Full HD) corresponds to 1.7 MP. What matters in a camera, is how low it's ISO speed can go, how low the aperture you can get and a bunch of other stuff, that I don't know enough about to talk more into. |
