They do keep it very similar but then again its only a new era of GTR so if it was to change, it wouldn't be a GTR. They are great valued cars which is why I love them :3
If you can find one, you can get the old ones in good condition for £12,000.

Lolwut. In that pic I can also see a '99 Celica line (the one starting on the left of the door handle, ending up near the rear lights), and the front lights look like the bigger front lights of a 370z.
Looks a bit odd, but so did the GTR35 at first, so maybe I'll get used to its new look.

Buddy of mine restored one, finished it last summer. "Only" took him 2,5 years to do so. Oh and its eh, the quite rare S2K. Currently runs a 2l Pinto engine and pushes about 125hp if I'm correct.

I've always loved MkI/Mk2 escorts as well as capris. I have only ever seen one in the US.
