Huh real ? - Jati - 2014-01-27 22:06 RE: Huh real ? - BP - 2014-01-27 22:08 Obviously not real. Such a plane couldn't bank and roll like that without simply falling out of the sky. Somewhat impressive effects nonetheless. RE: Huh real ? - Cola - 2014-01-28 05:57 I've never understood those fake clips where the camera shakes unbelievably much, and always has to have at least one zooming/zooming back out thing in it.. Kinda gives it away for me, no one does that, lol. RE: Huh real ? - Kayla - 2014-01-28 06:48 This vid is clearly a fake imho, BUT: Well, in theory a 747 can do a barrel roll. Give it enough space and altitude. Tex Johnston did a barrel roll in a Boeing 367-80 (Boeing 707). RE: Huh real ? - Chuck - 2014-01-28 07:02 Certainly no problem aerodynamic-wise. I'm not so sure about the engines would starve due to problems with fuel flow under negative G. RE: Huh real ? - BP - 2014-01-28 07:52 Well, the barrel roll certainly wouldn't be as quick and seemingly easy as it was in the OP but I guess we've already established that. I think it is a valid technique that commercial pilots would fly upside down in some event (emergency procedure) but can't remember the reason for it. RE: Huh real ? - Bez - 2014-01-28 10:32 Go in FSX with the hardest setting and try do the same You drop at least 2000-5000 ft trying to pull one off. |
