Finelist Update - Josh - 2014-02-05 17:31

We have updated our fine-list in respect to illegal parking offences. Additional text has been marked in bold red.

Fine-list Wrote:Illegal parking (30€)
It’s illegal to park:
- On the road, including curbs (except side roads)
- On grass
- On cross-hatched areas (except pits)
  • Stopping/halting is allowed as long the stopped car doesn't cause an immediate danger to others.
  • Cops may park in illegal places for purposes of traffic surveillance as long the car doesn't cause an immediate danger to others.

*See note 1 (Administrator parking)

To clarify the situation surrounding this thread: Is This Area Illegal to Park In?

Parking on hatched areas is illegal (as it always has been) and therefore civilians are eligible to a warning or fine if they do not move on when asked. This includes the area that runs alongside the Roundabout at the junction of Lower Hillside and Lower Main Street. This is not a designated parking area.
Closest designated parking areas include the raised car park opposite (Lower Main Street) and the open space at 'Drifter's Corner'.

Cops may continue to park there as long as they follow the new clause above.

If you have any further questions, feel free to raise them in that thread.
