Turns out the previous conducter messed up his ticket, so the student did nothing wrong, stupid that that bloke had to intervene thinking it was his business :/

RE: Dodging Fares? - Malibu - 2011-12-14 15:51

It's his attitude that got him into that shit. If he explained what possibly had happened, they would trace the other conducter and it would all be solved.

Lad.

RE: Dodging Fares? - Crille - 2011-12-14 19:02

Im guessing josh posted this at the wrong section so moving Smile

Sux for the bloke if he was right :/

RE: Dodging Fares? - Adampower - 2011-12-14 19:13

Just read the story on BBC News, in the past at the time i think the guy pushing him off the train was in the right. The whole situation would not of been caused if the conductor was not being such an idiot. He should remember his training of customer service.

Agreed.

Either way, he didn't have the right ticket, so he couldn't be on the train. Get off, complain at the station. Cause a fuss on the train, the big man gonna come and get you.

RE: Dodging Fares? - Nick - 2011-12-15 21:32

Scotrail are pretty strict about abuse to their staff, so as soon as he started swearing he was pretty much doomed.

RE: Dodging Fares? - Clockwork - 2011-12-15 23:08

Unfortunately, the big guy is now facing prosecution. Hopefully the courts will see that his force was appropriate because from a legal stance, civilians are allowed to intervene in such cases and use appropriate force.

RE: Dodging Fares? - Tom - 2011-12-15 23:42
