Possibility to change weather? - Marty - 2014-04-20 23:04 I know this has been a question before, but: Is it possible to change the weather every now and then on a track? Most of the time it is the normal overcast setting, but tracks like Westhill have a beautiful sunset option. I know the lighting changes a lot concerning visibility and such, but so does it in real life, so it becomes a lot more realistic. Wonder if it's possible to implement it into the server? Thanks in advance, [RDSR] Marty. RE: Possibility to change weather? - Josh - 2014-04-20 23:22 It's possible to change the weather, yes. These are some of the various threads I found: http://forum.city-driving.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=5513 http://forum.city-driving.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=10169 http://forum.city-driving.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=2861 RE: Possibility to change weather? - Marty - 2014-04-20 23:28 Well, I know it's possible to change it in SP, but I think I cannot change the weather in MP myself, or can I? I don't know if it's possible to change it when change to a different track? I read some people wanted to change it every day, but I mean just for the two-week period. RE: Possibility to change weather? - Josh - 2014-04-20 23:35 We would have to change it as the host, and it would be changed for everyone. I personally like what we have now. There are few other weather settings that actually look good. You can always try some different DDS files. RE: Possibility to change weather? - Marty - 2014-04-20 23:36 Ahh okay, I think I misunderstood you at first. Thanks for the answer! RE: Possibility to change weather? - Toni - 2014-04-21 06:48 You could just rename the Sunset DDS to the one the servers always have (if it even exists.) |
