You would be at fault for driving an autonomous vehicle. Will likely change soon, but at the moment you are not allowed to drive such vehicles on the road, researchers etc excluded.

Volkswagen is leagues ahead on this but mainly keeping it behind closed doors. (Anyone remember the desert race or pikes peak?) Cool technology I'd love it on those long road trips so we could do something as a family, but to and from work or school no way.
