It might be real. He's hardly being kicked by the train though, but more like the train driver.
You can see a foot and everything.
(The foot does look somewhat superimposed.)

Not fake.

There's campaigns going on atm here in Holland to prevent people from "walking the train tracks" (wich is also a 300€ fine here, if you get caught doing it)

Because people do stupid things nowadays for some attention. And in this case it also got him fairly rich.

Damn, I have seen this video for days on the front page on YouTube but never watched it. That must've hurt him.

In my opinion, that is one hundred percent real. I can believe his intention was to video the train passing behind him.

wow, I just thought he was kicking him to be a jerk, but basically saved his life and the train operator had very good judgment by knowing that little bar would hit this kid
