You were more in fault than him actually :

You didn't even let him the time to move, you had your throttle pedal fully pressed and you ended in his car, you could have slowed down and wait one second or two if that was needed instead of crashing into him and lose 6-10 seconds.
Please think twice before making a user report. I am gentle and won't take any action for this time (both parties would get one if that was the case), at least you recognize you were in fault.
