Does this mean that the developers have not completely given up on LFS?
Should we expect more things to come?
I was a little confused. It looks to me that they are released updates/patches annually?

Definitely, the update gave some hope towards the S3.

It certainly looks promising, Some of us have been following Scawens every word on the LFS forums and he didn't give up from the start, it's a small developer group so expect delays.

I don't know is it needed to backup files as it's fully compatible with patch 0.6E & nothing is lost after it's updated.
