Razer Tiamat 7.1 issues - TigR - 2014-07-25 20:53 hello! one week ago i bought a razer tiamat 7.1 used from a friend. i brought it home and plugged it in. the problem is that i cant get the 7.1 mode working properly. only the front speakers play. but when i put it in 2.1 mode it plays like it should. also the front speakers play very poorly when in 7.1 mode. all the settings on the box thing are right. anyone know what might be wrong? i got the msi B75!-G43 [MS-7758) motherboard. i have a suspicious that might be it but its wierd as all play as i should when in 2.1 mode.. everything worked properly last time my friend used it RE: Razer Tiamat 7.1 issues - Stephen - 2014-07-26 02:01 Razer has been nothing but problems for me. Leon has a different issue with his headset tha t renders them practically unusable. RE: Razer Tiamat 7.1 issues - Juntu - 2014-07-26 10:13 Fiddle around with the settings and try to find if there is something wrong, ofc you have propably done that already. The constant problem with 7.1 (atleast for me) was finding the right drivers. U should google for drivers for your soundcard (If you have a non-integrated one) or for the one in the motherboard. Other than those: Its Razer, everything is a problem. RE: Razer Tiamat 7.1 issues - TigR - 2014-07-26 12:26 hmm.. i got the drivers alright for the motherboard(i know i should have a soundcard dont be mad ) and it worked perfect for the previous owner. i also downloaded Razer Synapse to see if i could do anything there but it dont even have the 7.1 version to choose only the 2.1 version :/
