NOTICE 1: The auto-compenation is only a system suggested amount which may not be suitable for all situations. User-reports may still be filed independently from this system.
NOTICE 2: Crashes >5ms closing speed are detected. Crashes between cop and suspect in same chase are ignored
NOTICE 3: Serial crashes are dealt one by one.
NOTICE 4: ms = metres / second (10ms = 22mph = 36km/h)

Revision of bonus system:
-No more distance based bonusses.
-After 50km trip, max income raises by 1€ for every car (i.e. XFG can get +5€, FXO +4€)


-Fix: Buying a used car could cause multiple cars being primary at a time. (thanks to sebblz for reporting)
-Fix: !buy command does not work on track. Displaying message now.
-Fix: You need to own at least one car to drive a rented one. Hence, the 1,000km limit is obsolete.
-Fix: Access to rented cars is not longer possible with negative account balance.

Some words on the bonus system. We decided to change the system for numerous reasons as we want to reward cruisers, not speeders.
The older bonus system basically encouraged speeding and rewarded those who have fast cars. It also reduces the arguments when someone got crashed at 800km.

So, happy cruising.

-Modded Bonus system: That extra 1€ from earlier version is now earned from the first metre. It will be paid out in batches based on the trip distance (10,20,30,40,50,75,100km...)
-Visual display of next bonus
-Laser readings are not longer displayed in public chat. (The message looks perfectly the same)

-Trip and next bonus are crash-safe (No longer 5,000kph avg speeds after Insim restart)

Notice, the bonus system is only temporary. We are still working on it.
Its obvious that longer trips are currently pointless, but as I wrote above, its only temporary.

After every bonus-payout 10% will taken over into next bonus. (If the pot says 70€, you get 70€ this time and also 7€ extra in the next pot)
This is to make longer trips a bit more useful.

Version 2.17
-Upg: Added new cancel button before cop-ticket is opened. Shortcut for !lost command.
-Chg: Laser-sytsem modified: !laser stores the measurement at the robber so that every cop has access to that value.

Implementation remarks:
-Only higher values will overwrite an existing value to prevent accidential deleting the value (!laser message will append "ignored" at the end)
-Only actual speeding offenses will actually be stored (no green bullets). !showlaser will show "- No recorded speeding offences" in that case
-Chase must be started withing 60 seconds after the reading, otherwise the measurement is void.
-!showlaser does now (neccesarily) refer to the car being chased, so it does only work during chase
-Once a suspect is being chase, they can't be clocked anymore

Comments:
As every cop now can "tag" passing speeders, its up to you cops to organise yourself. Either via TeamSpeak or cop-chat.

Chg: Buying garages without having any cars is not longer possible (To prevent newbies from wasting their starting money)
Upg: Using default skin as cop/tow shows warnings now instead of instant spec. Spec is forced after 100 seconds.
Upg: Trip protection when leaving garages. Your trip is now immune for 60 seconds / crossing pitlane-exit. Whatever comes first. (Trip counter shows green to indicate protection)

Version 2.22
-Upg: Better trip protection.You can now spec or pit within safezones without losing your trip, including wrong way and speeding. (Entering the pits wrong way or too fast is intentionally not included) There is also a 5sec leeway after leaving a safezone to reduce issues near the zone-limits. Odometer will shown in green color when trip is safe.

-Upg: Displaying chase-length for cops and robber during chase
-Upg: New command: !x <text> - Chase chat. Share messages between cops in the same chase.
-Upg: Sticky tracker for cops to make it easier to start chases. The !laser command sticks the tracker for 5 seconds to the same suspect even if other cars get in between. The tracker will indicate this with a yellow asterisk "*". This command can be used repeatly.

-Upg: New !whois command to see nicknames
