V(max) on Tripcomputer - Barney - 2014-08-25 08:59 Hi, i've seen several people(including me) trying to reach top speed in different cars from time to time. as its difficult to laser, always requires a cop and most reallife trip computers/dashcams also have it included, i'd like to see a topspeed added to the tripcomputer. sidenote (Click to View) to gain some space, cut the distcance to one decimal place, maybe just a smal t for time and so on.. needs some testing i guess if its even possible. im usually a fan of a clean and minimalistic hud, but i think this wouldnt overload the display too much: big image (Click to View) thoughts? possible? not worth the effort? cheers, B RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Polete - 2014-08-25 20:22 I just love it gj RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Cola - 2014-08-25 20:32 Way too much information imo. Would be more confusing than it would help. RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Barney - 2014-08-25 20:53 u did understand that the computeer is alrdy existing and only optional? how can one single info more be "way too much"? _____________________________________________________________ €: actual current view at the moment: suggestion: with little adjustments like t instead of Time, and S or V for Speed and so on its hardly bigger RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Tingle - 2014-08-25 23:23 It'd be okay as long as you could toggle it on/off. Wouldn't want it displayed permanently. RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Jimmy - 2014-08-26 04:15 hm, trace your self with locator? It isn't going to be displayed permanently. Just a mere addition if you do decide to have it turned on. RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - KaraK - 2014-08-26 07:26 Simple and nice Don't see how it could cause any harm +1 RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - BP - 2014-08-26 07:26 (2014-08-26 07:02)Barney Wrote:If you're going to be rude to someone who's blatantly trying to help you, then don't post at all.(2014-08-26 04:15)Jimmy Wrote: hm, trace your self with locator?oh thank you. thats clever. then i have my location two times, top right a 0m, middle of the screen another green "0m" and still no Vmax... RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Barney - 2014-08-26 07:37 i dont think that a little jokin sarcasm is really rude... takes about 20 seconds to find out locator isnt working. but really sry jimmy, i help u out with a link for the future: http://www.city-driving.co.uk/manual/locator and annirex i help u too: http://www.city-driving.co.uk/manual/Command_Reference yes its not permanent. you can turn it on and of. like mentioned in the first post. and the fourth. RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Kyllone - 2014-08-26 13:18 This seems interesting. Why not? +1 RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Dino - 2014-08-26 16:18 Played on TC for 750 hours and never seen the tripcomputer. gg me... Now after seeing it, I don't see any reason against Barney's suggestion. The majority is driving without this tripcomputer anyway, so saying that there would be too much HUD is kinda not valid. RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Pinkz - 2014-09-13 10:54 Yea I would think this is a good idea Drift speed +1 RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - SLiiDE - 2014-09-13 18:09 How does one enabled this trip computer? No idea it was even a thing haha. RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Dan - 2014-09-13 18:12 !trip+ RE: V(max) on Tripcomputer - Pete - 2014-09-13 22:46 +1 to be honest, might make more people use it. !trip+ does not erase your actual trip, it just simulates another trip on top of the current one. !trip- stops this extra trip.
