Mufflord & TigR's Setup Workshop - Mufflord - 2014-09-17 11:43

Hello everybody!

Me and TigR is going to try something i dont think anyone has done here on TC before.
We are going to start a Setup workshop, where YOU pay us (insim) to make you your setup with your preferences, the making might take a few days depending on diffrent factors, wich is us testing and making it ofcourse and yourself trying it out and giving us your opinion on what was good and bad, so this is not a fast pace operation this is supposed to give you a setup that suits you.

It costs 6000£ insim, we will start atleast now with making setups for only Fz5 and the Tbo cars to start with, this is after all a test thing and none of us knows how well it will work out.

So if you want a setup that suits you post this template in a post below!

*Track?/Allround?
*Fz5/XRT/FXO/RB4?
*Cruise/fast set/drift?
*High/Medium/Low?
*Soft/stiff?
*tendency to understeer or tendency to oversteer?
*Do you want to be able to drive agressivly or more consistent with long lasting tyres?
*Method of driving (Keyboard + Mouse, G27, etc.):
*If you have any other preferences you would like on the setup put it here:

If you're not sure about one of the questions leave it blank.

**Side note, these setups are made to fit Tc's cruise layouts.**

~Mufflord & TigR.

A bit of a challenge for you.

*Cruise/fast set/drift? Cruise/Fast Mixed
*High/Medium/Low? Medium
*Soft/stiff? A good suspension (that doesnt make the whole car wobble or understeer)
*Understeery/oversteery? In the middle, just perfect, a little oversteer isnt bad.
*Do you want to be able to drive agressivly or more consistent with long lasting tyres? Preferably both.
*Loose/hard/locked diff? Open diff.
*Method of driving (Keyboard + Mouse, G27, etc.): DFGT
*If you have any other preferences you would like on the setup put it here:

Just a fast cruise setup for UF1 that has good handling and works well on all tracks, id like to achieve atleast a 165kmh top speed on the Aston Highway 1 straight. The setups suspension must not feel like its a boat, and the setup cant understeer at all, it needs to feel good, with a little oversteeriness if possible. I wouldnt want it to be too low, as i dont want the cars under to scrape on speedbumps or anything like that. The brakes must not lock, or be underpowered. the gearing must not be long on the first 2 gears, and the gearing must not be so it suddenly doesnt accelerate good enough. Oh, and the tyres, if possible, use either hybrid or normal tyres on the rear, preferably normal.

Money will be sent when the setup has been made so it fits my needs.

~Toni

I'm sorry but we are not making setups for other cars than listed above.

RE: Mufflord & TigR's Setup Workshop - Toni - 2014-09-17 13:03

Damn it.... Quess ill make it myself then kthxbye.

RE: Mufflord & TigR's Setup Workshop - Dino - 2014-09-17 13:05

Mufflord, you got my current one now.
It's originally made by u too, so probably you can do some slight changes which I probably like.

Tire temperature is fine, no changes required there.
I feel like I could get a long with slightly LESS grip.
Driving with a gamepad with TC, but as u can see it's hardly activating...

So yeah if u got some ideas or samples, go ahead.

Money ain't a problem.

*Cruise/fast set/drift? Fast
*High/Medium/Low? idk?
*Soft/stiff? idk... I gues like it is now
*Understeery/oversteery? like it is now
*Do you want to be able to drive agressivly or more consistent with long lasting tyres? Again like it is now
*Loose/hard/locked diff? like it is now
*Method of driving (Keyboard + Mouse, G27, etc.): Gamepad wohooo
*If you have any other preferences you would like on the setup put it here:
see above

The set I tend to use for cruising around in the UF1 with pretty much the result you want: https://hostr.co/0N3nWxeEO1HA

*Track?/Allround? Allround.
*Fz5
*Cruise/fast set/drift? Fast
*High/Medium/Low? Medium.
*Soft/stiff? In the middle, not a boat.
*tendency to understeer or tendency to oversteer? Balanced. a tad of oversteer (as long as it doesnt start to drift)
*Do you want to be able to drive agressivly or more consistent with long lasting tyres? Preferably both.
*Method of driving (Keyboard + Mouse, G27, etc.): DFGT at 720 degrees.
*If you have any other preferences you would like on the setup put it here:
Fast allround set, must not understeer/push at all, cant burn tyres or clutch fast, acceleration must be pretty good, must not feel like driving a boat. basically what im looking for is a really fast set with good handling and long lasting tyres.
