[GUIDE] Trip Bonus - smoky - 2012-01-04 18:47

NOTICE: This guide is out of date.

The "bonus" is money you receive when you make so many kilometers in a row.
e.g if you driving 1000km on Montana, you will receive 25 bonus for a total of 38'190 €.

Things not to do if you dont want to lose your km:

Speeding in pits
Going to spectator (SHIFT + S)
Going to the pits (SHIFT + P) when you arent in safe zone.
Changing your name to [COP] or [TOW] with a default skin.

since yesterday we have "new" bonus system.
I made simple test.
I took xrt and was driving circle Montana at speedlimits (no speeding at all!)
So, after first 10km I receive 60€ bonus and took it as max possible bonus per 10km.
Than I opened excel and here it is...

If 'car' means the physical ability to get faster close to the speed-limit then yes, otherwise no. What car you drive does not make a difference per se.

I thought the bonus pot was based on the +X you get per 4 seconds, which is higher in lower class cars? 0o

Nono wait. It was based on the +1 which came extra after 50km. That *extra* part was same for all cars. For instance the +4 for xfg is car based but that +1 part which came on top of that is independent. And btw, its 5 seconds , not 4.

these amounts are only "bonus"
it doesnt depends at car your're driving.
So bonuses are the same for uf1/xrg/fxo/fz5/xfr.

Thats just wrong. Since the very first TC Insim from July 2007 it used to be 5 seconds and I doubt it will change.
