Are the gears like this? - Borja - 2014-09-28 09:26

Hey !

I have a problem , but never know if it is not working as it should or problem occurs.
-I have a logitech g27 and playing lfs
- I was driving in a Xrg ( i have the same problem in all cars / track )
- Im going in gear 3 - 90 km/h for example
- I change to gear 4 withouth press clutch , and gear change !
Why it change ? Same thing happens when I reduce gear, when reach certain rpm, change..

I have in options of automatic clutch select off ,

Are this correct? Or i have something wrong?

THanks
Borja

It is correct behaviour since LFS seems to simulate rev matching but not the transmission grind.

As AJ said, LFS simulates rev matching so depending on your gear ratio you are able to change gear at so many rpm without engaging the clutch. For example you maybe able to change into gear 4 at about 3500rpm

Jum..okay.. and this havent solution , no?

Well it's not a problem what me an AJ were saying. Unless you can explain or show a video exactly what you are trying to get across to us as we may have misunderstood you, then just continue playing as it shouldn't cause any issues at all, it's a feature not a bug. Just drive normally and you shouldn't notice it, the reason why you may be noticing it is because you may be changing gears at unusual times. Sorry for the poor explanation, on my phone and trying to keep it simple which I am bad at Biggrin
