You were actually on the wrong side of the road which is why you were automatically spectated by the system. Today, a wrong siding measure was added for the Cattle Market and Highway 2 to prevent endless wrong siders and accidents. The blue lines are what you need to watch out for. What I don't quite understand is why you were spectated but the guy you were (presumably) chasing was not. The zones have a detection speed of ~80kph. Anything below is ignored. Thats, however meant as leeway for tows etc. but not for chases.
